Job Description

Purpose: The Human Resources Assistant will assist the HR Team, specifically the Talent Acquisition Specialists on the recruitment process to support the field and corporate positions. 

 

Essential Duties:

  • Provides administrative support to one or more human resources functions, including Recruiting and HR Coordinating
  • Gathers, compiles, and verifies information and performs data entry
  • Assist with various tasks such as posting job to job boards, scheduling interviews, sorting resumes
  • May conduct pre-employment screening interviews, check references and respond to routine questions on HR policy
  • Actively source candidates using multiple platforms and applicant tracking system
  • Complete weekly recruiting reports
  • Work closely in a collaborative environment with the ability to partner with diverse teams across multiple locations
  • Participate in various recruiting projects on an as-needed basis

Job Requirements

Core Competencies:

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
  • Extremely flexible with the ability to easily shift priorities in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Prior recruitment experience a plus

 

Work Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years in a corporate or business unit HR or Service Center role, preferred
  • Experience in front-line customer service role, preferred

 

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry experience related to HR/Talent Acquisition
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment

 

Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations

  • Associates Degree

           

Work Environment: While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works indoors, and may be required to sit for long periods. Individual will be required to regularly talk, hear, see and often reach with hands, stand, walk, use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
