Job Description

Heritage - Crystal Clean LLC, a leader in the environmental services industry, is looking for a self-motivated team player to join our Used Oil Re-Refinery in Indianapolis IN.

 

Purpose: The Parts Coordinator will be responsible for managing parts & operating supplies inventory that meets the Indianapolis Re-Refinery requirements for optimal operational maintenance of all equipment. They will look up parts/supplies, order, receive, issue them to plant personnel, process all work order transactions including allocating parts, receive all parts and materials in CMMS, and complete all parts cycle counts. Schedule: 40 hours/week, hourly.

 

Essential Duties:

Inventory Management

  • Maintain a clean and organized area with all bins designated and parts located in appropriate bins.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of all parts products to meet repair requirements.
  • Process inventory adjustments in CMMS, to facilitate accurate accounting of parts, and operating supplies inventory.
  • Complete Parts Physical Inventory Cycle Counts with goal of 100% accuracy and update CMMS as required.

Shipping and Receiving Parts & Supplies

  • Process Transfers In/Out of Parts inventory, physically and in the system, for items shipped to/from repair or inspection facilities.
  • Package, ship and receive goods as required via UPS, Federal Express, etc.

Purchasing

  • Obtain multiple quotes and evaluate cost vs delivery vs need.
  • Submit new Vendor Account Set Up documentation.
  • Order parts and operating supplies, either from vendors to maintain stock and fulfill maintenance and operational requirements.
  • Order shop, vehicle, and Refinery consumable supplies and shop equipment.
  • Create new part numbers as required.
  • Create Purchase Orders, including accurate quantities and pricing.
  • Physically receive all incoming goods, verify quantities and complete Goods In as confirmation of goods received. Resolve discrepancies with vendors for any inaccurate shipments.
  • Coordinate and process return shipments to vendors as required.
  • Create and distribute quotations, as necessary, for billable repairs.
  • Distribute, log and allocate parts issued to mechanics on the appropriate paperwork and in the CMMS.
  • Provide parts pricing and availability for all stock (list) and procured items (cost) and lead times and update CMMS as necessary.
  • Create and distribute quotations, as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain spare parts in CMMS and in the field, including field verification of spare parts.
  • Perform physical Critical Inventory, update CMMS and restock as necessary.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and standards.

  

Specific Skills

  • One year experience with computerized inventory management system.
  • Experience with MVP a plus.
  • Six months forklift operation experience working with palletized bulk products as well as heavy equipment.
  • Ability to maintain organized document files, in either electronic and/or hard copy versions.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to respond and support emergency requirements for parts and equipment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form.
  • Demonstrated high levels of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with computer software programs to include Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • General knowledge of computerized order processing, inventory management software.
  • Strong Mathematical and Mechanical aptitude.
  • Safe working experience.
  • The ability to work in team-based environment
  • Ability to learn new computer software.

Job Requirements

 

Work Experience

  • 5 years of parts counter experience in a in Chemical Plant or Refinery or related industrial equipment parts environment.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Equipment preferred.

 

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Designations or Memberships

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training preferred
  • Experience in chemical processing environment preferred
