Job Description

Job Summary:  

The Clerical Assistant is responsible for assisting the Facility Manager and other employees with creating and maintaining accurate Recycling Center activity records. 

Reporting Relationship: 

Reports directly to the Facility Manager. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for engaging in and promoting safe work behaviors in a manner that is consistent with all HCC safety guidelines.
  • Creates inbound and outbound spreadsheets for waste material.
  • Enters inbound waste material from local Branch route trucks into Crystal Clean computer programs.
  • Prints outbound paperwork for waste materials.
  • Maintains accurate files of inbound/outbound paperwork.
  • Assists Facility Manager with maintaining accurate records of Recycle Center activity, including inventory reports.
  • Maintains cleanliness of office.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements: 

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Previous clerical experience in warehouse or plant setting preferred. 

Specific Skills

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e., Excel, Word, and Outlook). 

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Designations or Memberships 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 

Training: 

Fisher Online Training Courses: 

  • O.T. Safety – Meets Requirements of 49 CFR 172.704 (Every 3 Years).
  • RCRA (Annual). 

Offline Training Courses: 

  • Emergency & Evacuation Training (Annual).
